We accept all credit and debit cards. Installments are available with all credit cards. We provide an official Service Invoice accepted by all insurance funds.

Siatras Funeral Home undertakes the arrangement of a funeral in a city or village outside Athens, including transfer of the deceased from Athens and full coordination of the ceremony at the destination.

The package price for a funeral outside Athens includes staff, hearse mileage and the basic services required for a dignified and properly organized funeral service.

What the package price includes

• Durable, medium-category coffin and coffin set: pillow, shroud, sheet, etc.
• Transfer of the deceased to a refrigerated cemetery chamber until departure.
• One day, meaning 24-hour stay, in a refrigerated chamber.
• Death declaration at the registry office.
• Issuing of burial permit and registry certificates.
• Dressing and care of the deceased with clothes provided by the family.
• Flower decoration of the coffin.
• Flower cross for the coffin.
• Two flower stands for the decoration of the church.
• Transfer from Athens to the church where the funeral will take place, with hearse and two staff members.
• Placement and arrangement of the deceased in the church for the funeral service.
• After the funeral service, transfer of the deceased to the grave for burial, with hearse and two staff members.
• Tolls, including the Rio-Antirrio bridge tolls where applicable.
• Funeral home fee.

Without flower decoration of the coffin and without a flower cross, the price is reduced by €100.

It is not possible to list every city and village separately. For locations around major cities, the distance difference is calculated at €1 per kilometer.

Price clarifications

• The prices do not include possible third-party expenses at the destination, such as cemetery fees, priests, burial workers, coffee gathering, etc. These expenses are paid directly by the family.
• The prices have been calculated based on the kilometers shown in parentheses. Any mileage difference is calculated using Google Maps before departure.
• The prices are subject to VAT.
• The family may follow the hearse in procession with their own cars.
• For funerals outside Athens, embalming is not required and is not legally mandatory.
• Information about funerals on the islands can be found in the corresponding section.
• The cost of transfers for autopsy, where required, is not included in the above prices. This concerns cases such as traffic accident victims or sudden deaths. The autopsy itself in Athens is free of charge.
• Additional waiting time of the hearse beyond the necessary time for the funeral service and burial, whether by family request or due to force majeure, such as closed roads due to snow, landslides or roadblocks, is charged to the client.
• Collection of the deceased from Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” is charged with transfer costs and possibly customs clearance costs.
