What Is a Civil Funeral?

A civil funeral is a farewell ceremony without religious character. It is chosen by families who wish to hold a simple, dignified and personal farewell, according to the wishes of the deceased or their loved ones.

It usually takes place in an open area, inside or near the cemetery, while in some cases it may also be held in a dedicated ceremony hall. Civil Funeral Arrangements

We undertake all necessary arrangements for the ceremony, so the family has clear guidance and meaningful support from the very first moment.

We can arrange a sound system for farewell speeches, music or audio coverage of the ceremony. Where needed, we can also provide chairs, umbrellas and tents, especially when the civil funeral takes place outdoors.

If the family wishes, we can arrange flower decoration for the ceremony area and the coffin, music accompaniment or choir, as well as a reception with or without a meal, depending on the family’s wishes and local customs.

The cost of a civil funeral depends on the location, the additional services and the needs of each ceremony. All expenses are presented clearly, so the family knows from the beginning what is included.
